Dominique Sars joined Wijn & Stael’s M&A Section as a Junior Associate in 2022. Specialized in corporate and contract law, she assists director-majority shareholders, directors and investors with corporate acquisitions, advising on corporate law and contractual matters.​

Dominique is a reliable, ambitious, and solutions-driven attorney with a collaborative spirit. Known for her strong analytical skills, she takes a keen interest in understanding what drives her clients. She chose to major in M&A because, as she puts it, “I love the dynamics and complexity of an acquisition process as it challenges me to seek outcomes that advance the legal interests of my clients.”

Interested in Social and Civic Issues
Dominique attended the Utrecht Law College, the Honors Program of the Faculty of Law, at Utrecht University, and worked as a volunteer social legal service provider at the social services organization U Centraal. She also spent some time in South Africa, where she pursued her academic interest in social issues at the Stellenbosch University. In the Master's thesis she completed for her degree in 2021, she combined her passion for sport and law as she wrote about the obligation of employers to continue paying salaries to professional athletes that are subject to disciplinary suspension.
