Mr. M.E. ten Brinke

Senior Attorney

Marlieke ten Brinke has been an attorney with Wijn & Stael since 2013, focusing her practice on complex litigation. She counsels and represents clients in Supreme Court litigation matters involving insolvency, corporate, contract and liability law. She also litigates before the Supreme Court. A partial listing of her clients includes large corporations, banks and trustees.

Analytical Attorney with a Sharp Pen

Marlieke is an enthusiastic, ambitious and analytical litigator. She gives 100% to every case she works on and will stop at nothing to deliver the best outcome for her clients. With a natural talent for getting to the bottom of a case, she can easily connect the dots and articulate positions in a clear and concise manner. “I relish the challenge of analyzing complex legal issues and putting that analysis on paper in a clear and convincing way. As litigator, I also want to do my share in helping develop the law.”

Specialist in Litigation and Insolvency Law

Marlieke received an honorable mention for her thesis on the options available to a buyer subject to retention of title. She has published articles about insolvency (procedural) law and, together with Thijs van Zanten, is the editor of two volumes of the Wessels series on Insolvency Law.
