Mr. A.M. Mennens
Anne
Attorney
Anne Mennens joined Wijn & Stael as attorney in 2019, focusing her practice on financing, securities, leasing, restructuring and insolvency. She counsels and represents clients in litigation matters involving (impending) bankruptcy, leasing and the termination of credit facilities. Anne has specific experience in restructuring and with the Dutch Scheme (Wet Homologatie Onderhands Akkoord (‘WHOA’)).
Complex Litigation
Anne is a driven and dedicated attorney with great analytical skills. She has incredible legal acumen and an impressive track record in complex litigation. “I am a stickler for quality; I don’t like half measures and loose ends, which is why I always make sure that my documents are watertight and leave no room for error or misunderstanding. I look for creative ways to express the client’s point of view as clearly as possible.”
Knowledge of Science and the Practice
Anne is a PhD graduate of the Radboud University Business & Law Research Center, where she wrote her dissertation on ‘pre-insolvency restructuring proceedings designed to rescue viable businesses and prevent formal insolvency proceedings’. She also was contracted out to ING Wholesale Banking Legal and regularly provides training programs on (pre-)insolvency law.
