Else Loes

Following a commercial post at Wolters Kluwer, Else Loes Pasma qualified as a lawyer in 1993. She initially worked for a large law firm before taking the decision to move to Wijn & Stael in 1999. She specializes in employment law and cooperation disputes, acting on behalf of businesses, institutions, administrators, supervisory directors, professionals and higher management in solving and preventing conflicts. She advises on the contents of contracts, adopting the best position in the event of conflict situations, preparation of files and legal opportunities and threats.

She is highly committed, can quickly change tack and aims in each case to reach the best solution, taking full account of much more than merely the legal aspects. Her experience in administrative and supervisory activities outside her work has given her the ability to see the big picture and take this into account in her strategy and solutions. She likes to be involved at an early stage to allow choices to be made as early as possible. She is creative, but also pragmatic. The main question she puts to each client is what he or she wants to achieve and when a case will be solved satisfactorily. That is crucial in determining the course of action she will take.

Else Loes is also arbitrator for the Royal Dutch Organization of Obstetricians (KNOV), chairman of the complaints committee of De Hoogstraat Rehabilitation Centre and the Perspekt Foundation, and secretary to the complaints committee of ’s Heeren Loo Midden-Nederland. She is a member of the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN), the Corporate Litigation Association and the Association for Health Law.
